Shavaun's obsession with candles started five years ago. It’s when her entrepreneurial endeavors as a digital creative director ramped up: client demands, deadlines, and self-imposed pressure to outperform the previous year (chronic overachiever here) made life more chaotic. Candles became an important part of my self-care routine to help combat that overwhelming work stress. Lighting a candle cued rest & downtime, and would give her something to look forward to after a long day. She started Spoken Flames to meet an unmet need, reimagining candles as a more immersive and personal experience.
