Herbaceous and bright, the Oakside Negroni pairs the exquisite Two James Old Cockney Gin with a small-batch custom amaro from Don Ciccio & Figli. Tied together by a Californian sweet vermouth and citrus bitters from Vena's Fizz House, this Negroni is a touch sweeter than the more classic iteration featuring the cloyingly bitter Campari. This small batch recipe carries notes of coriander, pine, rhubarb, and grapefruit, and is balanced at 52 proof. Best served on the rocks.

Oakside Cocktail Co. was founded by two good friends who love great cocktails, friends, and conversation… but don’t always love playing bartender. So one weekend, they started pre-batching Negronis – which friends loved – and, as hoped, it allowed them to get away from the bar and into the party. So many great places to drink with friends are too remote to make a great cocktail – at the beach or on a sailboat; at a picnic or around a bonfire.
